Does anyone know if half life can be run on windows xp? I want to buy half life and counter strike. But I am running xp pro. Will this work?
 
That combination works fine for me. I'm able to run CS in OpenGL on Windows XP pro on my desktop system running a PII-350 processor.
So it should work for you.

Works fine on my secondary machine. I'm running it under the administrator account.
 
Works fine for me, but I did update it to the latest version before I played it. Opposing Force wouldnt work until I updated it to v1.1.0.6
