Half-Life 2 VIA Steam

in about 8 hours, a 56k modem can pull down about 300 mbs at around 5.5kb/s. I was a long time 56k user and I dled large files before, largest was about 1.5 gigs. Took about a month(with only nighttime downloads) cause you can't expect to user the internet while it's downloading. You're better off finding another way to get half life 2 because the download will take you forever.

Good thing no more 56k for me.

And yes, Cs:S can not be enjoyed in it's full glory without broadband.
