Obviously you must be fantasizing about Rollo in his boxers since you brought it up. Must be one of those types that are screaming to get out of the closet and parade around in SF in your fairy outfit.

You should just buy my 9800Pro 5150. As you're the only one who cares if I own one or not, that would be the only sure way to know.

If I bought a digital camera like you want me to, I could still just borrow a 9800Pro from a friend and take a photo of it. What proof would that be? None.

The only way you'll know for SURE I have a 9800Pro is to buy it for $345. . I'll send it to you with all the original packaging, and my original receipt from newegg with my name, address and phone number on it.
A man such as yourself who can afford digital cameras surely has $345 to prove me a liar or not? All my heat is positive, as are all my Ebay references.
I guarantee you'd get more use out of the card than I will out of the digital camera, so everyone wins!

If not, I guess I'll just have to live with the horrible stigma of a student in CA not believing I can afford a video card. It will be tough. When I slink out to my truck in the morning to go to work, my neighbors will point and whisper, "He SAYS he has a 9800Pro, but he wouldn't buy a digital camera to prove it to that guy in CA. He probably has a Voodoo2!"

LOL

How on earth did this thread decend into "he's lying about what graphics card he has" and "Rollo running around in boxer shorts"?

???

You know, this thread was here to discuss 'Half-Life Performance'...

C'mon 5150! Buy my 9800 Pro! Possession of it, and the original receipt are the only way you'll ever know for sure I had one. At $345, you wouldn't be wasting any more money than I would on a webcam, so it's a fair offer. (and not much more than you'd pay for a retail pack Sapphire 9800 Pro now anyway)

It's a good card, and I've never OCd it. If you had it, all the controversy would end, and you would know Rollo is as honest as the day is long. That's GOT to be worth $345 to you! You could turn around and sell it for $300 easily, so the most you would be out is $45 for proof positive. How often in life can you have guaranteed proof of something for only $45?!

Most things can be proven or disproven for free!
