Seriously, stop using codec packs. Just use FFDShow, that will cover almost anything you need. Plus, it's free, opensource, and doesn't contain extra crap that you or your system don't need.

It might be buffering.

Try RC --> save as.

Run the file from your desktop 🙂

I have the same problem, but only with high quality. I saved the video and it still just stops and then repeats at 1 minute 29 seconds. The low quality version plays just fine, but the high quality version won't even let me FF or RW.

It looks like the HQ WMV is also available at: http://www.machinima.com/films.php?id=1037. Gamespot has it up too, but they reported their Basic servers full.
