Excellent! Those guys got some talent...those 9 minutes are better than any feature-length film Hollywood could throw out based on the game.

I guess City 17 is in Germany somewhere

not too bad. some parts a little too long but i think it's pretty good considering it's fan-made (i assume it is)

It's OKAY...but there is no lighting on the models

It was weak.

Pros:
- Well shot and cut.
- Use of Half-Life 2 Ambient music and sounds throughout the film was genius.

Cons:
- Many parts were far too drawn out (yes, I understand that he is running).
- The "it was all a dream....or was it?" ending was way too cliched.
- A few cuts had continuity problems, especially to and from the protagonists perspective. Often the camera had a view that was far forward of where he was standing.

Heh pretty nice. So what exactly was rendered in HL2 (besides the strider and that picture taking robot thingy)? Some of the hallways and buildings looked like it...
