Gogamer has the Import Edition of Half Life 2 for a good price, would it work the same as the US version?

I think I read on gamespy that it's a good idea to get the import version because it comes on one dvd even in for the norm $55 one.(here it comes on 5 cds)As long as it's in english it should be fine.

Also how much is it?

At rareglitch.com/halflife2.html we also have imported version for $29.95

WTF.

How is one suppose to get the software if all you sell is CD keys? Warez?

Also, you're website says nothing about the HL2 "Steam account" that you sell being an import retail package. Just a Steam account login. How do you swing this?

Half-Life 2 requires no CDs you download game from steam

As for other games if somebody uses the legit keys with a warez copy of the game this is none of my business, what they do with the key is their choice not mine.

Also it says they are imported on the home page, these games are imported from Thailand, i'm not sure where gogamer or newegg import theirs from. (I would like to know though, out of interested if anyone knows)

You know, Dave111223, I highly doubt the rules support business advertisments like the one you just posted. Infact, considering you're post count, I'm wondering if you've already been banned for doing it in the past.

So when you have no more reasonable comments you resort to flaming?

Seeing as your post obviously has nothing to do with imported hl2

I did not start this thread i mearly added to it, and no i've never been banned from this forum

Flaming? That was not flaming. I was actually just challenging your business practice, which, you're apparently sensitive about. Besides, I find it tacky -your way of trolling our forums and advertising your business. You are not one to judge me of "constructive posting" habits, sir.

I'm playing the Asia version of Half Life 2 right now that i bought from New Egg for 29.99. There is absolutely nothing anywhere that would make you think its not the American Version except for a sticker on the back of the paper cd case..that says Half Life 2 - Asia.

works the same

dave111223,

There are only 2 legitimate/valid ways to get Half-Life 2.

1) Buy it from Valve and get it through Steam.

2) Buy it "retail packaged" and get it from a reseller, *WITH MEDIA*.

All other methods are likely against the Steam terms of service.

Good luck.

If you want to lose an account on Steam over it.

Gentle
