Yes it has BEEN on sale but currently can you buy if for that today? I believe that is what he is referring to.
 
If you can, wait for a deal on the Orange Box: HL2, EP1, EP2, TF2 & Portal. If you already have HL2, the Orange Box deal allows you to give your second copy of HL2 to a friend.
 
The reason I posted it is that I haven't seen the Orange box on sale since Black Friday bout 5 months ago. ghost recon88 showed about a month ago newegg had the orange box on sale for one day only I totally missed that myself like chaonatic probably did too. Orange box for $25.00 is a Great buy but how long until we see orange box hit $25.00 again.?

Tough call.

Yea, don't feel bad. I was just saying that you could have the whole Orange Box instead of just the 2 expansion packs for $25 if you don't mind playing the waiting game.
 
ya, but the orange box don't include episode 1&2, or at least not 2 🙂, plus this deal gives you HL2 Deathmatch for free too, even though it's a shitty game haha
