What happened to Barney in the second episode? did something happen to him in the first one and failed to notice what exactly? im just very puzzled....😕

I totally forgot about him. I vaguely remember something happening to him, but it could be my imagination.

Damn yea I never thought about him the whole time. Maybe he will help us out in the next episode

He took one of the train at the end of Episode One, leaving City 17 with members of the resistance. He probably went to the Arctic base with Mossman, but as seen in Episode Two by Mossman's video transmission the expedition was attacked by the Combine. They will most likely make an appearance (both Mossman and Barney, is my guess) in Episode Three, since Gordon and Alyx have to go there as well.

Drop the metal plate down so it's on the ground, grab a grenade from the stash, throw it in the small space between the ground and the plate, and jump on before the explosion.

Well, I knew it had to be something with that thing, and with grenades, but for some reason, I never thought about standing on top of it after tossing a grenade under there.

anyways back to topic...this really makes me want Episode 3 right now! im proud of Valve, Episode two has been a master piece, great acting, drama, effects, storyline...i was wondering though are the episodes supposed to be HL 3? if so, youd think theyd be called HL3: Ep 1, etc. but i dunno....😕 anyways i will impatiently wait for Episode 3 😀

The developers have already said that the naming was done incorrectly, and that as you said, they should be called HL3 Ep1 and Ep2. Last I read, Ep 3 is in the works, but Ep 4 will be developed by a different group under Valve's direction.
