Half Life 2 easter egg!!!???

Why is this described as an "Easter Egg"?

I see it as an observation only surely?

An "Easter Egg" suggests that it unlocks some hidden function in the program...or am I missing something here?

HL2 was way too easy and a disappointment compared to the Original.

I'm finding Far Cry a much better successor to HL1 🙂

For outdoor visuals and certain aspects of gameplay (ability to go prone, night vision goggles, hang glider, less linear gameplay) FC has the edge over HL1 and HL2. On the other hand the HL2 physics engine is awesome. Pick up a can and drop it on an incline and watch it roll down the hill. And of course there is the gravity gun, or is it the Zero Point Energy Field Manipulator Gun? I also like the feeling in HL2 of being one part of a larger "resistance". Both FC and HL2 are great games, but I still have to give the edge to HL2.

What an insult to HL1.

I think you may have misinterpreted my meaning here 😉

Far Cry is a better successor to HL1 than HL2.

HL2 was just eye candy with lots of bugs and a pathetically easy ending which was totally over-hyped at the end of the day.

HL1 is still the most absorbing game I've played to date bar none 🙂
