working ok for me. 12% complete so far and getting 56 kb/s. Did you install the bit torrent software?
 
Bittorrent question? is this downloading slow just because alot of people are trying to get it, or is download speed tied to upload speed? because my dsl package is like 1500/128(1200/104actual) and downloads on this are really slow.

right now i'm getting 7k to 12k downloads, and around 12k to 14k upload
(have dsl, win xp, and a router)
 
What is bit torrent and how do i install it, I click on it and is says windows can open the file???
 
your downloads are slower than uploads because there are more people trying to get the file than are sharing it. right now i'm going at 27 up 39 down...

Well isn't the good thing about bittorrent is that everyone downloading it is also sharing it so you should still get decent download speeds when everyone else is also downloading it?

Anyways on my end it's downloading really slow.. download rate fluctuates from 1-10 kB/s where my upload is semi-constant at 15 kB/s. ETA of 32 hrs!

on DSL btw

it's prolly cuz your upstream is saturated. Download the experimental BT client and cap your uploading to around 10 or so.

It's very possible that your upload is swamping your download. It is possible to limit your maximum upload. read the FAQ.

Now I'm at 80 K down and 90 k up (college connection)

There is talking going on in the background like it is a videoed, however, the quality of the video is very good.

finished downloading, now uploading between 60 and 180K
 
It's the same movie. Video quality is better though (less 'out of focusing' going on and higher res). Most of the scenes are the same, although a few of them go on a longer than the other clips showed. There's also 2 clips of the G-Man at the beginning and end, showing off his facial expressions, very cool too.

I left it downloading overnight and watched it this morning. The video is much higher quality in this version - the camera/tripod was setup near the center so the image isn't as distorted. The exposure and focus is also constant unlike the other version which has discoloration and comes in and out of focus all the time. Also, you hear the commentary a bit better. Some scenes are a little dark though and you can't see all the details like the other one but that wasn't that big a deal.

One thing I heard in this one was that the scene with the big battle in the city where you're in a team is not scripted. That's really impressive AI!
 
Me/ saves the money for a new vid card...
I dont think that my good old Rad 8500 can manage all these eye candy...
