I got it for $40 and I'm going to use the $20 off coupon since I bought a 9600XT last week. The stuttering issue was really big on the machine I was playing the game from (my wife's). I won't bother with the specifications of her system, but it is a really nice AMD system. After playing for a couple of hours all of the HD 'trashing' eventually KILLED the HD. You heard right, all that accessing has corrupted Windows and about 80% of the stuff does not works and the remaining programs work somewhat some of the time. Thanks, under-achiever game programers!!!

Looking at your sig I have to wonder if it wasn't the overclocking you were most obviously doing and not HL2.

yes, my BB wont honor GCC on PC games saying it is only for VIDEO games meaning console games.

You should of had the manager go over to their online pc for ordering over at BestBuy. Then have him click on the link on their web page that states Video Games. Under that heading is a list of console games and a line in the middle somewhere that states PC Games.

If a PC game is not a video game, then what else is it called?

ToxicMussels just wanted to let you know that I explained in my last post the difference between Video games and PC games (Software Games). I just called bestbuy customer care to sort this out once and for all and was told that the coupon is for Video Games as in Nintendo Xbox etc. and NOT for pc Software games regardless of how they have placed pc games under the heading of Video Games on their own website. I used your example and had them see why the coupon should be honored but they said NO, not for SOFTWARE games (PC games). So, those of you who can still use it enjoy because the managers will eventually tell you NO you can't use it. Good luck and enjoy it while you can.

Edit: I got away with getting $5 off for over a year so I had a good run.

I just tried to PM this at our local Wal-Mart here in smalltown, USA. No go. They said only if the store which offers the deal is local, and the closest Best Buy to me is in Memphis, TN, an hour away.

Their coupon should state: NOT FOR PC GAMES.

However, Best Buy is a SUCK company that has publically stated that it views us hot dealers as "undesirable" and "devils" and they'd rather not have our business.

Until the rest of America wises up and until they go out of business, they are ONLY good for PM'ing.
