So I'm purchasing textbooks from Half.com. It gives me two options for shipping, Media Mail and "Expedited Shipping." I'm thinking, I've shipped stuff Media Mail before, it's not 2-3 day like Priority, more like 5-7 day. Which is what I need.
Today I get a confirmation from one of the sellers and it says the package should arrive anytime from Sept 16th to October 25th
Since when does Media Mail take 30 BUSINESS days? I need these books in two weeks, not a 6 weeks from now. I'm located in middle of California, someone is shipping it from the same town, another is shipping it from Los Angeles and another from Washington (the state, not DC). Should I expect it to really take 30 business days? I've already contacted two of the sellers (I think the one in the same town attends the same university) and said I'd pay the extra $5 for Priority if necessary.
But is it necessary? I mean, these books are less than a couple of pounds.
