I placed my first order last night for used video tape $1.00 plus $3.30 media rate shipping rate. How does half control seller what if he decides not to ship it?

On a huge order like that, they would send an entire team of lawyers after the seller.

that's expensive for "used" video tape.....

i think if you have a problem with not receiving it, you contact half and they refund your money. the seller won't get paid by half, plus you can leave some nasty feedback.

i've sold stuff with them before and am more worried as a seller. what if the buyer lies and says they never received my item? they get their money back plus my item, and i get nothing. i use delivery confirmation on "huge orders" for that reason. your's wouldn't qualify as a huge order. i'd probably wrap it in a sheet of typing paper and put just enough stamps on it to get it to your house

if you dont get it contact half and they will not charge your credit card then leave bad remarks for the seller,

you are pretty safe, i like it much more then ebay.
