This is their 'bestselling cameras' list :

link

Check out the price link on no.2

It also appears in their ads when doing regular searches in Ebay itself.

From my experience with them, they have always been owned by E-bay. They are a spin-off company.

half.com is worse then ebay, becuz there is no way to directly communicate with the seller. u can ask the seller a question, but the questions first go thru half.com. i sent the seller a question about why he cancelled my order, and in the reply, he says i can paypal him and he will send me the stuff. well... since half.com only takes CC payments (so they can get their cut), i noticed that all references to the sellers paypal id were editted out. so thats my biggest beef with half.com... no direct contact with seller :(

Nope, they were bought by eBay a year or so ago and were completely independent before that.

Yeah, ever since getting bought by eBay, the prices are really screwey.

yes, it was good before ebay bought them

Actually it was good up until they came up with the brilliant idea of "Over Half."
See back in the "good ole days" you weren't allowed to even list your item on half.com unless it was LESS THAN HALF the retail price.
In other words if you were selling a CD and the retail price (MSRP) was $16, you couldn't even list it if it was more than $8.

You might not find what you were after on half, but if you did, it was gonna be DAMN cheap.

That all changed when they let people charge whatever they wanted.
