Guess who makes it

Q:Is HAL available for overseas users?

A:Unfortunately HAL is currently offered only for the residents in Japan. A branch office has been established to introduce HAL to the clients in EU.
For the clients in the other region, please kindly be patient for the time being.

Q:Can I use HAL?

A:HAL is primarily developed to upgrade the existing physical capabilities of the human body.
Theoretically speaking, HAL should be applicable to the others. Currently HAL is used by people with weakened muscle and some people with disabilities due to stroke and spinal cord injury.
Please contact us for the specific information about your case.

Q:How much is HAL?

A:The cost of HAL for the individual users in overseas is expected to be approximately US$1,000 per month (including $300 for maintenance/updates program).
Please be noted that the pricing for the institutional users will be much more expensive (approx. 3 times).

Q:How much does HAL multiply one's strength?

A:It depends on the type of HAL you wear, but roughly speaking, HAL can multiply 2 to10 times the original strength.

Q:Is HAL heavy while I wear it?

A:No, you don't feel heavy, because its exoskeleton supports its own weight.

Q:Can I go outside wearing HAL?

A:Currently we recommend the users to stay inside for the safety. However Prof. Sankai and his team proved that HAL specially designed for climbing mountains can work even in the snow at 4000 meters height. In the near future, it will be possible to be worn outside under the safety instructions / the usage guidelines.
The latest battery runs for 5hours in normal activities.

Translation: irreparable psychological damage might occur to the wearer if seen outside by regular humans, as the typical response tends to by hysterical laughing and pointing.

...at which point you use your cyborg strength to crush them into a juicy little ball, which you then play with like a Hacky Sack as their children watch in terror.

Until I flip their Yaris over with my robotically enhanced strength. :p

Just aim for the battery and watch the sparks fly... so to speak. You've been stockpiling for the zombies anyway right? Consider this "target practice".

HAL and Cyberdyne? Really? Why don't you just make an exoskeleton named HAL with a psychotic personality that hooks into a system called Skynet for updates and is powered by human body heat to completely ensure our destruction.

When I was in a metal band in college we had an intro to a song that was the Terminator theme, but with guitars and drums, the crowd always loved it once they recognized it.

This site is just a joke, right?

That's my reaction to the idiots scooting around on those Segways. In fact my niece once asked a guy on one if his legs even worked.

haha 10/10 :D

I think Segways are awesome and would love to have one to play with. But I just don't see their practical day-to-day use. The off-road model looks pretty cool; the video of it going on a trail looks fun, but wouldn't you rather be pumping along on a mountain bike or taking a hike with a SO than riding an electric skateboard through the woods?

What does an exosuit have to do with Terminator .5? You know it's just a machine right? Are you going around calling cars "Transformers .5"?? Are guns "megatron .2"?
