I went to a salon for a year when I first cut my hair short. They did a great job but damn was it expensive. Now I go to a barber shop and found a woman who does a good job for $12.

I just had to pay $30 (which includes tip) for mine. They do a good job there, but you feel like the lonliest guy on the planet inside. Several of the woman hairdressers bitch about their husbands not taking them out, not appreciating them, as well as general male bashing. I'm glad I got out alive![]()

dumbass. go to a barber, 12 bucks for a skilled person who knows what they are doing. I go on saturday mornings and they have a couple of TV's with some kind of sports or "man show" playing. its a old place one of the tv's is sitting on a old coke bottle (glass) dispensor, i like the atmosphere.

I would go to a salon but I wouldn't even know where to begin when it comes to hair styles.
I really dont know how much they could do, or what they could do with what I have.
Anyone know a website with pictures of various mens hair styles?

I've grown my hair out the past 5 months - it's not long like shoulder but its getting to be curlyish as it grows out. Everytime I go to the barber they're like.. one or two clip? They have no concept of like just a regular trim cut, I think I may have to start going to a salon since a woman's touch might be what's needed.
