Hair removal for men

GoingUp

Any of you guys use any of the hair removal items? I know to stay away from Nair, but I was wondering how well the wax stuff works. I want to get rid of some of my excess chest hair. Anyone have any experience in the matter?

i've been using a beard trimmer on a 7 guard, keeps it short. i'm not built enough to go hairless

Hot candle wax is the only manly way to go...

j/k Use a beard & moustache trimmer, finish up with a disposable razor.

yepo beard/moustash trimmer /w razor if u want ultra smooth....get the gf to help if shes into it although she mgiht suggest the wax approach 😉

I tried the nair for men stuff...my god was that the worst decision ever...had an allergic reaction (tested it on legs and worked fine...only about half hour rubbing it on chest and removing hair did it happen) that caused chest to be covered in a rash for a week...water would make it burn....horrible painful....never will go down that route again 🙁

if you want to go the wax route, i would suggest going to a salon and getting it done. i tried waxing my own legs, and couldnt do it.
otherwise, i would use a razor in the shower once or twice a week. make sure to exfoliate first, then use a really moisturizing shave gel.

that should work pretty well too

...and to think you people make fun of me for shaving my legs. 😛

Embrace your chest hair and let it grow!

The ladies love it, at least it has never hindered me from being with an attractive woman! 😉

see the problem is when I shave my chest it gets all covered in red bumps and razor burns. I would probably need to go the wax route. How well does that stuff work and what do you have to do to use it?

you need some stuff called Tend Skin. It works great for getting rid of shaving bumps.

i would think that you get razor burn because you are not exfoliating the top layer of dead skin cells off first. thats what give you in-grown hairs and razor burn. if you want to shave it, get a non-harsh body/facial scrub and a natural loofa. use that then shave. They have specific products aimed at men too, but even a mixture of baby oil and sugar would work!
If you go to a salon, they will take the hair off using hot wax and cloth strips. its painful for a little, but i think it is well worth the pain of waxing to get several weeks of smooth skin. just make sure you go to a good SALON, not hair place. usually, if they do massages and the like, they will have a full service waxing lady as well! It may be kinda pricy, but check around!
