Weird. I cut my own hair (just used the #2 guard on the clipper over everything), and my parents tell me to grow it out. -__-

Yeah, what the fuck gives?

Cut it, grow it out, cut it... "NO, YOU MUST HAVE IT PERFECT. OH AND COMB IT SO YOU LOOK LIKE YOU ARE IN KINDERGARTEN AGAIN."

Why does it need to be a female hairdresser?

I used to go to one, and honestly it was alright. However, when it comes to the corporate world, you may want to just go to an old-fashioned barber shop and ask for a regular haircut - you know, the same one men have been getting since the 40s. This looks the most professional. You can't go wrong.

Besides, if you live in a state where regulations aren't as stringent, you can still get an old-fashioned shave. It really is an experience if you have a good barber.

I'll keep it in mind, but I don't grow insane facial hair like most manly men man men.

I just saw the pics after posting this. Besides, you don't have to have insane facial hair in order to have or need a good shave.

I'm assuming what you have is the typical bowl cut. Although convenient and easy to do yourself, it doesn't fly in the corp. world. You can do better than that style. (Disclaimer: I say this only because I used to have a similar style....seriously...ditch it.)

Here is what I look like... Hair and all. http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/7999/picture7gl7.jpg

My comments still stand given the new pic. It only confirms from what I saw in the others. Go get yourself a decent razor for your own use, and head to the nearest barber shop, stat....

Get a nice clean haircut, thin those brows, and there you go.

thx
That isn't very descriptive to my hair cutter. 😉

What kind of hair cut, I need specific words to use for styles, etc. Maybe pictures too. I have no clue.

Tell them to use the #2 sized guard on the clipper for everything except scizzors on the top. If you want more clarity just pick one of the pictures of haircuts on the wall in the barber shop. "Cut it like that (point to pic), with size 2 on the sides and back and scissors on top." There.

Appearance is first impression whether you like it or not.

Just being honest. Did I get a haircut and shave when I went for my job interview? No. 😉

If someone denies me employment because of my looks, I probably don't want to work there anyway.

this

it also helps in an interview to tell people you're arrogant and a smart ass. Honesty is appreciated!

😕

I was actually being serious, haha. Obviously it can't be applied universally, though. If your job requires you to always look sharp, then that is a different story. I guess I just don't work(nor would I like working) those type of jobs.

Aren't you unemployed?
