wakarimasu (this is the polite form of "understand". japanese people often leave out the topic if it is understood. In this case I think it would be "I understand"

kawaii ne - cute. "ne" is usually used to extract some kind of passive agreement from the listener, but in this case I think he just threw it in because it made it fit the syllable requirement. Plus it sounds better than "yo" or "na", or at least to me it does.
