I really hate that everyone thinks my majors are completely useless when they don't bother to look into what can be done and what has been done with them. It's all well and good while people are joking around, but the fact that folks think I'm spending thousands of dollars and several years doing absolutely nothing difficult or useful show their ignorance.
Banking on my hopes that whoever grades this will just look at the pictures, I drew an exponential through my noise. I believe the apparent legitimacy is enhanced by the fact that I used a complicated computer program to make the fit. I understand this is the same process by which the top quark was discovered.
