Heh, guess some guy thought he was gonna try to screw with me. My song gets to 99% on napster, and it suddenly gets cancelled. After listening to it, I realize he only cut off half a second of it, the entirety of which was after the fade out.

Actually, it saved me precious disk space, and I didn't have to open an audio editor to edit out the blank space. I think I should've sent him a message thanking him.

Best way to screw with people on Napster is rename files...like:

Phish - Stairway To Heaven with Guns n Roses (EXTREMELY RARE - 4.6.96).mp3

There was a bug in the earlier version of Napster that cut off downloads at 99%. Never had any problems like tha ton the new version though.

I try not to cut people off, but if they are crawling with 0.5Kb/s (yes, it does happen often) I will cut them off.

Ah, that's probably it. I just installed an older version to get rid of the bloated beta 7.

I don't let people get stuff off of me. I mean if you are just going to stop it don't let them download in the first place, I mean there is an option in Napster to do that. Plus I'm 56k so I can't let people download from me otherwise I can't download.
