It pops up a window asking why im uninstalling it.... Im supposed to check the one that applies...

General:
-Too many features to select from
-I wanted to see what ICQ was, but I don't have any need for it
-I couldn't find any friends
-I am concerned that using ICQ increases the chance of my information
being transmitted over the Internet without my permission
-I'm missing features like (optional):

Hahaha... As sad as it is, i sorta found that rather amusing :)

I just installed it to see if i could get the file sending to work... Me and my friend are both behind firewalls and can never get AIM to ever work with file transfers between us... Weve tried everything :)

Are you behind a firewall that you installed and maintain or by a network admin? Maybe try opening port that AIM tries to send on?

If you are having firewall problems you can try opening ports, or on a router you can enable dmz(contact your router manufacturer for more information).

Firewalls can be a b*tch. I can receive files on MSN Messenger but can't send. I just use FTP to transfer files to my friends. Too lazy to configure ports.
