Yes, he get the bonus prorated for the life of the original contract. IOW, if the original contract has expired he gets all $20 million.

just what i was thinking...525000 is excellent pay...say he retired after playing for 7years...the leagueminimum might have gone up to at least 725000....yup he is a dumbass...now i feel truly sorry for him, maybe this is temporary.

does anyone know why he screwed up so bad? besides the attitude thing...his throws looked very poor ....but by the look of them..they seem to be due to lack of confidence in himself....i feel a n0.2 overall pick quarterback cant go bust like that.

I think so. I just remember that game where he got sacked immediately after coming into the game and messing up his shoulder. I think that was what finally ended his career. I mentioned Mirer only because he was drafted No. 2 behind Bledsoe. If only Seattle had lost to New England the year before, then Seattle would've had Bledsoe and the No. 1 pick...
