Hahaha Look at the fat kid!

Sup guys? hey, Im fat. I was wondering have any of you guys come across any of those so-called "miracle" pills? I mean something that really does help cut fat. Granted I am of course less physically inclined than others, but Im not just some dude who wont leave the house. Now a lot of you are gonna try to find cool ways of saying to exercise. I dont mind walking and all that, but my knees are shot hardcore, so no real running. And no I didnt just LET myself get this way, I have the slowest metabolism on earth. I worked out for 2 years and never lost anything more than like 5 lbs, the whole time! These were 2 hours a day of hardcore weight lifting. gained a lot of strength n stuff, but no fat loss!!!!

Well, any recommendations?

<may the flaming commence!>

"excuse me sir but you can't park your van on the diving board"
"that is our son chris"
"oh i'm sorry...... hey dave it's just a fat kid"

Go see a nutritionist and stick to whatever diet they give you. Walk for at least a half hour (straight) every day.

If your body can't burn calories (low metabolism) you'll just have to give it less calories.

Running a lot will probably knock out your knees if you're heavy. I'd recommend swimming, elliptical trainers, or some other low-impact sports

anyways...my fat friend recently start taking stacker2. it makes you feel like your stomach is full...and i guess it burns calories or something. i dunno, give it a shot.

some ppl are just big boned man. thats how you are, just gotta accept yourself for what you are.

you can try xenadrine, or stacker2, but i believe all that does is decrease your water. so you're not really losing any weight/fat, only water.

try going running for a few miles a day, i can guarantee you that you'll lose a lot of weight. my girlfriends cousin is kinda big, but he started running everyday for at least 2-4 miles a day. he lost a lot of weight. he is a big boned guy too.

thx, Im just about willing to try it ALL .

oh yeah, send me that chocolate 🙂

xenadrine turbocharges your metabolism.. I take it to accelerate the process of becoming sober, to make it through a work day, or if I need to pull extra hours. But I wouldn't recommend it as a constant supplement, it can't possibly be good for your body in the long term.

Start smoking a pack a day. Drink about seven cups of coffee a day. That's what I do to maintain my girlish figure.

Man, running is nearly out of the question - knees are messed up nicely from baseball and football...teh sux 🙁

First, get the hell out of Pheonix, and move to a more normal climate that allows you outdoors for more than 3 minutes at a time.

Then walk, walk, walk, walk, and swim when you can. If you're going to the store for Doritos, walk, don't drive. You won't be as hungry when you get there, but you'll be thirsty. Buy a jug of water instead of a half gallon of Dr. Pepper.

Get a decent bike, too (not one from Walmart of Target), and ride for recreation.

Wtf man I need some mental control 🙁

Im just fine with passing up good food, but I always end up getting soda at the gas station or at a restaurant. I do drink assloads of diet soda, probably 8 cans a day or so.

Anyone have any tips for maintaining self sontrol also?

Get a picture of you with your shirt off, and blow it up into a poster. Then right next to that poster put a poster of some super model who you think is really hot. Commence to look at those two posters every time you want a can.

All these things are probably just ephedra (sp?) and they are like speed, but less potent. They make you sweat like mad, even if you're just sitting there, and they make it hard to relax. Some people who attempt physical activity while all boosted on that stuff will increase their risk of stroke, heart attack, and heat stroke. All in all, they're a bad thing.

LOL, I wouldnt wanna scare my mom..or my friends for that matter. Excellent idea tho..maybe i can do that more discreetly, like put the pic in my clothes drawer or something...

Anyways, anyone know about the ripped fuel stuff?

Go on a Slim Fast diet, worked for me cut 32 lbs. out w/o exercise, but hit a flat line lately so you will eventually need to start exercising.

That's what I do, and it's working for me (actually I walk on the treadmill for 35-45 minutes each day as well). I've lost 10 lbs. in about a month so far. Losing weight is actually 90% mental. You just have to decide you are tired of being overweight and do something about it. If you can get into a daily routine, that's the biggest help. If even walking is too much for your knees, then swimming laps is your best bet.

Lifting weights won't make you lose fat, it just builds muscle (which if combined with a reduced calorie diet can cause weight loss since the increased muscle mass will cause you to burn more calories just sitting around). Walking will burn fat, but you have to do it for more than 30 minutes at a time (30 minutes is the typical switchover point where your body will start burning fat).

man, I guess I need to start going for long ass walks at night before the sun starts staying up til 9 and giving us sunburns til 9 too 😕
