So I've really gotten to love Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for the NGC and decided not to return it (as I was thinking about in this thread).
The thing that made me keep the game was a little feature called "Chao" in the game which is kinda like Pokemon without the childish magically powers. Anyway, you collect things in different levels with Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, etc and then give them to your Chao if you wish. My brother was searching around in the Dark Garden and found a skull. Before selling it on the black market I decided to see if my Chao liked it.

I guess he did!

If you guys have no idea what I'm talking about I must sound insane....

Yzzim if you collet all these things in different levels and then give it to your Chao, isn't this exactly like Pok&eacute;mon? Maybe I'm missing some aspect since I haven't played SA2 yet.

Not sure as I've never played with Pokemon before. Just thought Pokemon had to do more with magic. Haven't really had the time or the urge to discover Pokemon.

Pok&eacute;mon evolve through experience...it sounds like you give your Chau a certain thing and it uses it..

Chao aren't really like Pokemon at all. More like a virtual pet type thing really, but its not Pokemon.
