its hard to scratch those screens if you have even a shred of intelligence. i mean really...it just not something that will ever happen to mine. i can assure you of that 100%.

statement 2: "if you have even a shred of intelligence"

thus, if statement 2 is true, meaning you have intelligence, statement 1 is true, meaning you will have a hard time scratching the screen.

to answer your question...basically, yes. i know some unfortunate people had accidents but i bet the majority of scratched nanos are from people who i could easily say are a waste of oxygen and toilet paper.

edit: you dont seem like the type...im talking about the average person.

Who cares if apple users buys it for the looks? The scratches hurts the functionality either way. Why not just by a crap shuffle with no screen if you don't give a crap about how the screen looks? Half the price.
