We've been shopping around for quotes on a limo. We're planning a big night out and we thought it would be fun to make use of a limo. Anyway, the first place I was in contact with quoted us at $1,500 for eight hours, which I think is too steep. I meant to forward the quote, along with a few flip and dismissive remarks to my best friend, instead, I replied to the email.

I just received the reply from the limo firm. "I think you meant to send this to 'Robert'."

I got limowned.

A company we had hired to do some IT work for us did something similar. I sent in my latest e-mail requesting some modifications, and instead of the vendor forwarding my mail to his co-worker, he replied to me instead saying "This guy is driving us nuts! We have to start saying no to his requests (etc.)"
