I can see the headlines now

"After listening to some people on a message board, little Johnny lights himself on fire and burns down the house"

Hell, he prolly deserved it 🙂

<< dude, if you have grapes do this:

I dunno if you need green grapes, but I know they work with them (we praticed in Video Production class at my HS with cd's and grapes in microwave 🙂)
Alright, get your grapes, and a knife. Cut the grapes with the long side being vertical, so it's taller than it is fatter. Cut the grape down the middle of it vertically, but don't cut it all the way through. Now, since you didn't cut it al the way, there should be some of the "skin" from each half connecting the two. Put the grape newly cut sides facing up, for 30 seconds in the microwave! You get sparks, small fireballs and coolness. Plus, the worst that happens is that is just smells a little, and you have some grape juice in the microwave which can be wiped off when you take the grape out 🙂

I just tried that with a red grape and it didn't do anything but sputter juice...

I wonder who would get sued? Everyone?

I have had a CD explode in a cd-rom, anyone have that happen? It was a guy I built a computer for, and he cracked a cd, so he wanted to make a copy before it borke. Well, as it spun up, he said it sounded like a bomb went off in his room. His mother came running and everything. Then I get a phone call because his CD-Rom doesn't work. Took me all of 10 seconds to figure that one out, it sounded like it was full of sand 🙂

Ha what an idiot. "Hmm I seem to have cracked a flimsy piece of plastic. Maybe I should make it spin at 6,000 RPM.

Can you spell "idle hands"? 😉

You really have way too much time on your hands, people. 🙂 Go hiking. Do some sports. Read a book. Play some more CS. Take your BMW/Ford/Nissan/bicycle for a drive/ride. Find some less destructive and not potentially fatal method of entertainment.

And stop giving me more ideas. I might want to try them... 😉

<< I hope there wasn't any good p0rn on that disc!!!! You naughty boy!!!

Stick a tire in there and tell us what happens.

LOL 😀

Nothing more damaging than attempting to boi an egg in the micowave. When I tried to crack it, the egg expoded in my face. The egg was stil uncooked and HOT 😱

<-- Never tried anything stupid with the microwave since then

do it with a bag of chips, eat the chips first. make sure its the kind with the foil on the inside, not the kind like with funions.

That's nothing.. My friend and I microwaved a couple cd's when he was throwing out his old microwave. Anyways, we also microwaved an egg inside this glass bowl that kind of curved in at the top.. There was an opening though.. Anyways, I set the time to 4:00 instead of :40, so like, after a minute and nothing happens, my friend goes.. What, how come the microwave is still going.. I go "whoops," he goes, "you stupid idiot..." and then BOOM.. There's this huge boom sound the microwave shut off and there's smoke coming out of it 😀

We caught it all on video too 😀

I completely forgot about that.

I did probably 50 of them in my 1 year of college (tell you anything there?)

It was when I had a crappy 2x burner that did 75% coasters.

Will the CD-R cause any damage to the microwave? I'd like to make a couple, but parents would flip if I broke the microwave.

Put it on top of an empty jar face down right in the middle of the microwave. Keep the disc away from wall, door or the ceiling on your microwave. The microwave won't be harmed if you keep it to a few second, however it will stink like burnt plastic.
