One of my friends whom I told HL2 was scary and he only laughed at me in return has now admitted that it was scary after playing it.

i don't know when i was rollin around in that buggy through the tunnel and hit that massive burned out car road block (ala 28day later?) i was like "oh sh!t! better bust out the shotty". that part was pretty scary cause the fvckers didn't start coming until after you got out of the car and listened to the eriee silence.

HL2 wasn't scarey. Doom 3, now that was scarey. After spilling my soda when the monster jumped out from under the stairs (after 10 mins of playing) I uninstalled it.

Doom 3 > HL2 in terms of scaryness. Straight up hands down. Especially with the lights off, stereo blasting in 5.1.

just got to that part yesterday (never beat the game w/o cheating)...i suppose that was scary...but the zombies are slow as fvck and dont hurt you unless you have the reflexes of a 90 year old
