EVERYONE in the world says the decision was correct, the English are the only ones who just don't get it :)

See, this is why I hate soccer. I dislike football (American football, that is) - I dislike hockey, and I dislike basketball. But as crazy as people sometimes get over them, nobody goes utterly insane over them they way people do soccer.

They are just looking for excuses. I just watched the replay on FSW last night. Portugal owned the match from the start of the second half.

I have to say I'm English and I love football (the proper kind not the rugby with padding they play in America) but I think the way the Sun treated the referee was scandalous, yes they can say what they want about how they think he handled the game (which was very poorly imo definitely what we call a homer referee) but in now way shape or form should they interfere in his personal life by giving out his home address and personal phone number thats just wrong and I hope they get fined heavily for it.

If it was just this it'd be one thing.. but it seems like once or twice a year a bunch of people die in a stampede/riot at a soccer game because *gasp surprise surprise!!* one team generally loses. This simply doesn't happen at other sporting events.
