Haha, my dog just tried to eat a fly!

My dog's (a golden retriever - not the smartest one around, either) just lying on the front porch and starts cleaning himself and a fly comes by and buzzes around him and he keeps snapping at it trying to eat it... weird dog

He also allows birds to pick hair off of his back to make their nests.... strange, but very funny to watch

My dog in college would hunt flies (she saw alot of them in a college apartment with 5 guys!). She would sneak up really sloooow....then POUNCE. She usually got them after 2 or 3 attempts. 🙂

Well - I guess that beats having spiders doing the job. And who knows that dog might have been eating spiders as well! 😉
 
My mom's dog ate the cricket's around here. But just not as cool as my old dog who'd catch birds out the air and then eat 'em. Woody was a kickass dog.
