I was going through my junk room and started throwing old computer boxes out the door. I had 8 years worth of computer hardware boxes in that room!
6 Abit mobo boxes
2 DiamondMM video cards
3 3dfx vid boxes
4 Various Nvidia cards
4 AMD CPU boxes
3 Intel PIII and P4 boxes
4 cases
8 network cards
5 modems
4 DVDROMs
5 CDRWs
4 HD boxes
4 MS Optical mice
2 MS keyboards
2 19" monitor boxes
2 DVD kits
and LOTS OF others!
I also threw out
1 year of Playboy
3 years of Maxim
2 years of Stuff mag
2 years of FHM
2 years of Gear
4 years of PC Mag
4 years of Computer shopper
3 years of Gamepro
4 years of EGM
3 years of Gamenow
2 years of Maximum PC
Plus about a dozen porn mags
I drove down to the dump with half of it and put it in a dumpster. I threw the magazine in last and it just happened that the Playboys were on the top of the heap. It was kind of funny look at a dumpster full of hundreds of half naked woman and computer hardware.
I drove back home and got the rest and pulled into the dump parking lot. Three teenagers were in hog heaven in the dumpster! 🙂 They were throwing the boxes out faster than I threw them in. One other kids, was off to the side sitting on the ground going through the magazines (keep in mind it's 10F outside!)
I drove up next to them and started throwing more stuff out and heard them say "Damn, these boxes are empty! I knew this was too good to be true! But this guy sure has good taste in computer hardware." 😀😀
ANyway, just found it funny that they found it as soon as I dropped it off.
