Yeah, its that unhappy camper guy. Funny thing is, I never mentioned his name and no one would have known it was him unless he came in here admitting it.

i use Netscape Composer, Dream Weaver 4 (super non-userfriendly but makes good flash and edit the style of the page), 1stPage 2000. 1stPage is a color coded text editor, i suggest all of you get it, it makes finding errors SOOOOOO easy because you can actually see when you are missing a " or > or something like that :D

damn penguines and their flipper arms!

i would still make webpages on my windows computer because it's so much easier, i can only play Half-Life on windows anyway so it might as well stick around for a while :)

since i'm here...... is there any way i can improve the site in my signature aside from:
-add downloads section to the site map
-make the gap smaller between the news and the how to connect thing

plz help me on some ideas :(

I don't design the sites... I only do the coding part and fix messed up HTML and I don't bother getting rid of the FrontPage META tags. I guess it just saves time to use FrontPage to adjust tables and all; i dunno, ask the webdesigner - because I'm not him :p only thing FrontPage is good for is it's text editor with the line and column count for easy debugging.

BTW, I won't do any PHP or Perl sites because I only have a basic knowledge as I said in that PM... I can ask our official programmer if he'll do stuff if you want; for free. ASP is my organization's main focus when doing dynamic content.

Don't make me look like a fool, now :p

I don't think you need any outside help for that. Using a Frontpage WYSIWYG to design web pages is a little different than "know and work with HTML, DHTML, JScript, ASP, VB, VBScript, XML, SQL, basic Perl, C, C++, PHP, and Tcl". I work with programs written in VB & C++ everyday but that doesn't mean I can code it. And being able to edit someone else's HTML written in Frontpage doesn't exactly make you 'elite'. Not to say that you shouldn't keep up the effort, though, you'll be able to make some real money someday. Just don't go around spouting off things like

<< I am confident I know more about computers at age 14 than you'll ever come to know! >>

It makes you sound just like an immature 14 year-old and isn't going to win you any brownie points here. There's a lot of experience on these boards that you can make use of if you don't go blowing off the whole group with silly comments like that.

I do not use FrontPage for anything but fixing stuff that our webdesigner did (just to save time) and to use it's code editor for debugging- I didn't even make those sites. All I do is write the ActiveX DLLs and ASP scripts that keep our Infrastructure running. And another thing, I did not post that in the forums, lameass; that was a PM I sent to Lucky after seeing the original PM from him.

I don't think I was insulting you at all. I offered sincere advice since you already seem to have a chip on your shoulder and the little extra

<< get your damn facts straight before you insult me, please >>

PM you sent me just confirmed it. Oh, well, Junior. I tried. Good luck, I guess...

Hey, don't worry dude. Most of the people here couldn't do half of that when they were your age.

Yeah lol are you 14 now? That's kinda how you come across. However you should really thank Lucky because you just got a bunch of advertising for those people who actually liked your site and can get past your immaturity.

Actually I was most impressed by the amount of cash these kids have. At least 3 copies of Win2K server isn't cheap and they've got some nice systems to boot. Not to mention getting enough money together to have a net connection that allows hosting. Although, it is interesting that your IPs don't reverse lookup.

My guess would be it's time to step back, re-read this thread and try to keep your replies "professional".

Btw that is kinda annoying how he spams about his hosting. Just saw it in another thread with a post from today 2 pages down.
