I have fairly big hands and the "Duke" Xbox controller is an excellent fit, but nooooooooooo all these midgets started complaining that it was too big for their tiny hands so now MS only makes the S...
Not really, my only compaint about the XBox enclosure is that it's kind of loud. I wish they had designed it to use a slower fan (larger if need be, I couldn't care less about the enclosure's size).Originally posted by: yllus
Does the size of the unit really matter to anyone here? I'm much more interested in the system's power, game collection and control scheme.

Also, the PSTwo's size isn't that impressive, if the Xbox were redesigned with the same 733 MHz P3 on a 90nm process, the GPU on a 130nm or 110nm process, and they used a 2.5" drive with a laptop DVD drive they could fit it into a similar form factor (slightly larger because of the HDD).

I liked the original Xbox controller as well. I'm 5'9", 140 pounds and I usually wear small or medium sized gloves.
All these guys who complained that it was too big for little hands are either midgits or full of sh|t.

Am I the only person on the planet that prefers the original "Duke" Xbox controller? It's the most comfortable controller I've ever held, and I've held quite a few (NES, SNES, TG16, Saturn 6 button digital, Saturn analog, Dreamcast, PS Dual Shock, PS2 Dual Shock 2, GC, GC Wavebird).
I'm being 100% serious. I've got 4 Duke controllers, the one I play with and three others put up since they're OOP.
yes you are, teh smaller controller is fine but the big one sucks, and teh Mico-con is toooo damn small
the Dual Shock is the most comfortable controller by far tho always has been
