Does the size of the unit really matter to anyone here? I'm much more interested in the system's power, game collection and control scheme.

I like the styling of the new PS2, but I think the Gamecube still is the best looking of the three.

The original Xbox controller is still the best out there in terms of ergonomics. I'm average size and it fits me perfectly.

Not really, my only compaint about the XBox enclosure is that it's kind of loud. I wish they had designed it to use a slower fan (larger if need be, I couldn't care less about the enclosure's size).

Also, the PSTwo's size isn't that impressive, if the Xbox were redesigned with the same 733 MHz P3 on a 90nm process, the GPU on a 130nm or 110nm process, and they used a 2.5" drive with a laptop DVD drive they could fit it into a similar form factor (slightly larger because of the HDD).

Ah but the fact is they didn't or haven't done so yet :p

For me the Dual Shock controllers are the best by far. Fits me and I am just so use to it after being on a PSX for ages.

I didn't like the XBOX button placement but that was pretty much due the time I have spent with the Playstatiion sytems.

So which games have problems on the PSTwo? Or no one will know until Thanksgiving since it just came out?

As a PS2 owner, the original Xbox controller fits perfectly. Its a personal preference though.
Since the S controller is bundled with new Xboxes, I dont see why people are even complaining about this.

Who cares about how big their console is? Do you live in a 90 sq ft. apartment where you need that extra space for your toe?

All these guys who complained that it was too big for little hands are either midgits or full of sh|t.

I'm 5'4" and I like the original Xbox controller as well. My favorite has to be the dreamcast controller, though. I guess most guys are use to grasping "small object" in their hand.

I'm being 100% serious. I've got 4 Duke controllers, the one I play with and three others put up since they're OOP.

yes you are, teh smaller controller is fine but the big one sucks, and teh Mico-con is toooo damn small

the Dual Shock is the most comfortable controller by far tho always has been

You'll probably prefer the Duke once you go through puberty.

I just got my psTwo on saturday and its pretty darn cool. I brought it to my computer science class today to show my friend/boss and I had all kinds of computer geeks and the prof gawking at it and asking questions. Is Final Fantasy XII really going to need a harddrive? Because if it does I'm selling this thing. Hopefully I'll put some pics up tonight.
