I was thinking of adding a couple of 120MM fans into the front drive bays that are empty right now. I put my dvd-rw in the floppy drive bay so it appears that I can fit two right on top of each other to fill up all that empty space!

I was hoping to get some ideas on how to pull this off or if a different size fan would be better?

any comments welcome.

I have put a 120mm antec tricool red led fan into the top 3 drive bays using two screws, one in the top right and bottom left corners to hold it nicely in place. You can't get 4 screws in because the holes on the backplate things don't line up all four, but its solid and free from vibration. If you don't have proper size screws you could use a smaller screw and bolts as well I suppose.

taken in my dark room with 2megapixel phone :s

ps: I think I need a plastic deflector to direct the top intake down to the processor/videocard area cus I think most of it just gets sucked out the top.

You know the metal plates with circular holes in them that you gotta punch out and dispose of when you put a dvd drive or whatever in, I just left those in and screwd into those circular holes. It works pretty well. The fan is behind the metal hole plate things, not in front. It looks better that way too as the red light is coming through those holes and its not as exposed.

If you tore all those things out when you got the case, you might be able to use zip ties through the little holes along the edges of the drive cage but I dunno. It's probably doable but a real big hassle to thread the needle so to speak. The whole drive bay altogether can only house 2 120 mm fans and that's w/o having a dvd drive, as each takes exactly 3 drive bays (one drive bay must be 40mm high). Could do a 120 and a 80 w/ a dvd drive I imagine just fine.

Yeah, I threw all of those out right away. I'll have to try the zip tie way and see how that goes. thanks.
