I was thinking about this myself and then I found this video on youtube where a guy mounted his radiator/fans on the top of the case instead of inside and mounted his reservior on the rear of the case. I really like what he did which is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYleay83Yoc and I wanted to know if anybody else had tried this?

I prefer to mount everything on the inside, so I have a PA 120.3 and an EK-Res 150 mounted internally. There's more than enough space and it looks much cleaner.

his rig looks almost exactly like what im planning to do with my rig as soon as i get my WC mounted lmao. i however may put my cards on full cover blocks as well, add a typhoon III head to my D5, and add 1 or 2 MCR360 rads inside in the top of my case. right now i only have a 240x120 black ice rad and i havent installed anything yet cause i havent had time. i bet he is getting really awesome results out of that PA120.3 with the 230mm fan inside in the top blowing air into his radiator as well though, looks like a great idea

mounted both my 360's[MCR] off the back of a 932 using two 7"x 7" square [ U ] brackets I built ,the rads are flush with the case sides , but the SFF21F sides can be seen looking from the front,[many hours\days to fit and drill holes to mount the rads onto the brackets ]
-all 6 fans blow in , as to not suck vid or psu heat in, also a token 120mm mounted behind the gpu vents blowing out. also the 140mm 932 back fan blows the heated rad air away from between the rads.to the rear\wall
-also used 2 x bitspower 'Y' block to split the flow to the 2 rads .[ same length of 1\2" tube] = a 120 x 720 rad lol
-res and pump went into the top 3- 5.25 bays [1 of 2 fan controller shares the top bay ]
pump sits on a 1\4" deep silicone filled tray.
-lost only two bays
-also the vented bay covers of the 932 remove from the front to adjust pump speed or to check res .
-very quiet and cpu temps when testing @4.2[w\HT] with Linx apox. 61c \ room @ 22c with real temps. water temps 1-4c above ref. temp sensor on the same controller.
-will wc - the next gpu if I go to a single - not sli [but the fans of the gtx285's are testing my resolve not to]
-had room to aircool the 760 so no need for a block for now.
-first wc build [no leaks] -over kill maybe - but should be used for a long time .
-hope that adds to the possible mounts.

Well I plan to wc the cpu, chipset and vga. I'm thinking about getting a monsta rad and putting it on the top. Not sure which way I'm going on the res, at first I was going bay mounted but it's still up in the air. I want to do this right the first time and have a quiet system. Right now at stock my ultra chilltec cannot turn off the peltier at idle plus the fan almost always turns at max even at idle. I'm tired of hearing the fans and am ready for some water action. Keep coming with your suggestions.
