under partition info it says that win98 is now on the C drive which it isn't. i installed it to the 2nd partition "D". so how do I get the computer to boot back to win2k?

you always install win 98/ME before you put 2K/XP on. The boot.ini file is altered when you do a duall boot. Win98 doesnt know what to do....win2K/XP does.

You don't need a repair disk usually, but helps the repair go a lot smoother. Otherwise, re-patch your OS. You did make a repair disk right?
