There was a sick cow that fell and it could not stand back up. We(my brothers and myself) could not make it stand. We gave it anti bioctics and other stuff. But still it would not stand. The cow got so sick it finally started to drown in its own snot and muces.
So Dad said we sould put it out of its pain. So I got my SKS and shot it in the brain. Dad and my other brothers left for wile I started the tractor. It took me a wile but i finnaly got the body draged off.
Man why am i trying to ryme? Anyone elce have to ever shoot and drag a cow off? Or am I the only person?

thats always fun. We've got a cattle ranch in NM with several hundred head. There's even one cow named daisy who will eat right out of your hand-very unusual. We spared her from being made into a hamburger, for the time being at least. :)

I dont use spell check cause its cheeting.
Thats nothing. You should have seen the cows calf. He has big brown eyes. He followed me two miles wile I draged the cow off. He stood over the body and moowed for a wile. I had to hit him over the head to nock him out and haul him back to the feed lot.

you like working a farm? I always hated it when my parents shipped me down there for summers. Bastards would pay me like 2.50/hour for backbreaking work like bailing 120lb blocks of hay.

I hate working on the farm. But I do like it when i get to kill sick cows. I live on a farm thats owned by my Parents so i dont get payed. I do get to hunt on the land in deer season. Duck season. Armadillo season.(that all year long) Dog season. Cat season. Stupid neighbor season.

I live in AR so I dont have to worry about much.

what really is sad, is when a new born calf is dead and hanging out the back of its mother still, i hate when that happens, or when a cow runs into a fence and gets stuck and dies, i haven't had to shoot cow nor would i want to, my uncle does that.

dog season..LOL, reminds me of my redneck cousin who works our farm. Friend got him a massive puppy for xmas, the thing was 25 pounds at 6 weeks. Cousin said he didnt know if it was a good idea, as he has killed his 10 previous dogs when he had gotten mad. half he shot, half he killed with his bare hands. I told him, if you are gonna kill this one you better do it quick before it grows up to be 200 pounds and killls you when you hit it. :)

I hope you're not serious. If so, this person should NEVER own a pet.:|

He should also see someone about anger management.

Im completely serious, and I agree with you. Wouldnt be surprised if he grew up to be a mass murderer. That whole side of my family is a bunch of rednecks, Im temped to disown them but I have substantial future ownership in the farm after my father passes.

I got to help BURN a dead cow once, about 6 years ago. The cow got sick and died up on a hill in the fields. Couldn't get the tractor up that hill. We got a truck load of dry brush and 5 gallons of gas and lit that bad boy up.

The cow had been lying, dead, in the sun, in August, in South Texas for about three days before it was found. The owner followed the SMELL. :p I can tell you that it's one of most putrid stenches I've ever smelled! Ewwwwww. My ex-buddy has that cows skull on his living room table. Redneck.

Several years ago we had 3 cows die in a small pond we have . It was real cold and the pond froze over , but not thick enough to support 3 cows :(

It 3 days to get them out . We burned them afterwards .

My, that's quite a way you seem to have with animals. Please reassure me you are not pre-med or pre-vet, thanks.
