Had problems making partition, now I have no taskbar/start menu.

I tried making a new extra NTFS partition in PartitionMagic but it encountered errors and left me unable to boot. So I went into Recovery Console and used chkdsk /f to fix stuff. And it worked.

So I'm back in Windows but there's no taskbar or start menu! Even when I hit the Windows key.

Anyone have a clue how I could fix this? Will System Restore do the trick, or do I need to reformat all together?
