What about SpeedZone in city of industry?? Nice arcade and 3 race tracks plus mini golf.
I think on the weekdays 30 bux gets you unlimited racing (usually its 6 dollars each time you go on the track)
 
I will do anything.. paint ball.. racing.. (speedzone sounds really really good to me)... etc etc..

I am up for anything and everything. If we are doing speedzone try and see if we can get a discount on a weekend.. for being a group.. so we can do some unlimited racing.. after all it would be a sizeable group..

Just tell me the date so i can co-ordinate my side.
 
Speed Zone.. good idea. I actually may drop by since it's practically in my backyard.
 
Oh speed zone. That's in my backyard too.

The most convenient time for me is early to mid december. That is probably a very convenient time for most students as well.

Malibu Speed Zone is a go kart sort of place. Valid driver's license i believe is required. That's all. Yes they have DDR. Pool tables and other fun stuff. It gets expensive if you spend the day out on the tracks. I'm not gonna drive out to City of Industry. 😛
 
When I was 13.. I went to teh speed zone (1993) or whatever it was called back then... I went to the one in Malibu.

And yes I got to drive.. but a lower powered vehicle.. the higher powered ones are for ppl with licences . Bascially sub 50cc for non licenced drivers (plently fast for a 2 stroke) and 200cc engine's for others.

ok looks like everyone wants to go to speed zone. Now the time is what we need to figure out. I know Nov. Is the middle of quarter/semester and you guys have midterms and all, but as I remember students can handle a day off one week, even if midterms are coming. And besides, most students are going home in dec or studying for finals, and finals you can't really just move your study time and I doubt people will want to stay just for this...

I propose Sat Nov 2. What do you people think?

If I had the money, flying would certainly be faster. lol I have a friend down there I'd like to see anyway, so. . . we'll see what happens. 🙂
 
Speedzone has two ddr machines, the first one and ddr2. If we go on a saturday (or any weekend) we must remember that it is 6 dollars each time you race.
There is a track with almost life size indy cars, that one is $3 per lap! and totally not worth it. The slick track is by far the funnest. Another
normal track, and the drag racers as well.
I would like to say a weekday but I know with school and stuff it can be bad, so I would would
suggest a sunday night starting in the afternoon and we can leave before it gets really late for the students. How about weds october 30th?
Most people have slackened school/work schedules the next day because of halloween... or Sunday Nov 10th the day before veterans day? Or even
Tuesday Nov 5th get off work early say you're gonna go vote 😀 Just some suggestions...
 
ok, I like Speed Zone in the City of Industry for saturday. It's definite, I'll be there if that's what you guys finally decide on. Let me know the final details when that's available.
