I was in pain all day because of my knees. They hurt when the weather is humid.

I remember when I was in Grade 2 I saw a commercial that showed little kids (like my age, maybe a year or two younger) playing outside having fun and it said something like "remember when life was carefree? no worries in the world" (some bank commerical I think) and I was thinking I wish. Life hasn't been carefree since kindergarten :( (now I'm off to university in September) That kind of sounds depressing, didn't mean to be - life is good - just felt like sharing that memory. :)

Well my day consisted of waking up at 11 am.

Go play Turok against 3 other friends for an hour.

Goto beach for four hours.

Rocket launch a water baloon into a friends car.

Watch him get pissed as hell and we laugh our a$$es off.

Go play James Bond for an hour.

Damn life is tuff :)

Good day. Dad's at Ohio for this week, and I have no obligations and tommorow I'll have my mom's permission to blast away the landscape with my July 4th Artillery

<< Going to college this fall as well; definately can't wait to be a little bit more independent. I sorta' enjoy the difficult life because you're always active, thinking, and feeling. I live life for the experience, and carefreeness doesn't give as much experience as a difficult life. To me, it's a lot more fun. Maybe it's just me. *shrugs* :p >>

No pain no game :) Ya, if life was always easy we wouldn't be able to appreciate it... also, "easy" is so relative, almost all people in the G8 countries have life way easier than poorer countries. Iceland people are the happiest country in the world, and life certainly isn't "easy" there. That reminds me, I have a bunch of stuff to add to that "what to bring to college" thread after reading all 3 pages and talking to some friends but I'll do it in the morning :) G'night!

Today was one of those boring days where I sat around pondering stuff that shouldn't be pondering for my own mental health. In other words it sucked :p.

I quit my job on sunday night/monday morning. I was working for the Price Chopper (supermarket) Perishable warehouse, which is basically a refridgerator the size of a shopping mall. I worked second shift, which is normally 4pm-12:30, but on sunday they were forcing double shifts on us. I heard for the first 2 weeks working there, you aren't allowed any overtime, but they didn't seem to care (it was the beginning of my second week btw). Going on 13 hours, I finished up my order, walked into the office and quit. I am summer-help, which is basically the bitch. I have to work full-time, doing the same job as everybody else, but they only pay me 9.50 an hour, and normal starting full time is 11.75. I am not at all pleased with golub (parent company) at all. On thursday when I get my check, I am going to drop a complaint with Human Resources about the conditions. As a side note, there are 30 employees out on compensation and disability at the moment, and there were 3 injuries the night I quit. Two people were force 2 double-shifts in a row (32 out of 48 hours) and fell asleep behind the wheel as a result of lack of sleep. They got into car accidents. On the way home from the medical office, my best friend (one of the injuries--strained shoulder, can't lift >15lb, or and above his waist) dozed off for a second on a straight-away. Thankfully, he woke up in time and is ok. He is going to finish the week and quit.

EDIT: spelled "conditions" wrong.
