Going north on Sepulveda Blvd past Sunset Blvd up/down the mountain through the twisties.

Man that thing can accelerate. But it can't corner worth ish. Either that or the guy doesn't know how to drive. At first the guy tried maintaining his speed while taking the curves. He kept going over the center divider. Then he tried slowing down for the curves, accelerating out of them, and slowing down for the next curve. He couldn't slow down in time. He kept on crossing the center divider, and he couldn't even stay in his lane. We kept on playing until we hit actual streets, then I turned around to come back home.

Overall, a pretty good time. That thing can *really* haul ass going uphill. :)

Hopefully the idiot keeps it in his lane and DOES NOT cause a crash and kill somebody being a redneck in his Z28. IMHO

Is this a newer Z? The newer ones with the aluminum block handle a lot better. Sounds like he's just not experienced.

Maybe it's because I'm from Detroit, but I never could understand the Z28=redneck inference.

BTW-my wife has a Z28

I think it's the driver myself. I'm biased though. My friend just got a 2002 Z28(310 HP!!! :Q), and I'm a fan now. I drove his old Camaro(1996), and I thought it handled fine.

It's a kiddie thing. ;)

The last time I mentioned my wife's car someone(fritzo, fritso, fredo, whatever his name was) suggested that he would have to cut his hair in a mullet and move into a trailer park to drive one.

Well to me being a "Redneck" isn't just owning a type of car like a Camaro,
add racing it on the streets and there you go! that other stuff about the weld is true too LoL

It's a 40mph 2x2 road with very few cars and you can't really hit very high speeds (60mph+) due to the curves. As for the comment about the South, most of the street racing vids that I see seem to come from Texas. And a few from Florida.

The bay area and SD both have pretty big scenes, but I've never been to.

Here in socal, Ontario used to be really big, talking hundreds of cars on saturday nights. Then the police really cracked down, too many people dying and stuff.
