I couldn't really sleep, and lots of thoughts are running through my head, so I try to meditate and clear my head, then fall into a sleep. I wake up and have a orgasmic feeling in my hands, so I rub them together and it's really wierd, kind like fireworks are going off or my hand is numb, but I don't think much of it, I get out of bed, but then fall down to the ground, I figure I'm really sick or something and I just fainted (fainted before due to dehydration and I got that same feeling), my whole body had the tingly feeling, so I stumble and I'm calling out to my dad, I get up and fall down again outside my room, I make it all the way to the stair leading upstairs and I fall again, and SNAP, I wake up...and I'm in my bed!

First one I've ever had.

I did take a valerian root pill, maybe that was it. LUCID dreaming I've had before, that's when you realize it's just a dream and you mess around, but this I thought I was in reality, it was a dream in a sense.

Did you ever have the flying dream yet, attached by a metal string ? Haven't had it for a few years. Was so real flying above houses and trees.

"First one I've ever had."

I honestly envy you. If only I could be so lucky. Congratulations.

I hardly ever had the ability to fly. Instead I was able to jump 100 feet in the air, and come down slowly as I would on the moons surface. Haven't had a dream like that in nearly 10 years!

A few years ago I became very interested in stuff like this. There is a crap load of info on the net you can check out about lucid dreaming and (what you might have experienced) astral projection. I have been trying to achieve this for a while now, but haven't really had the time to really commit to achieving it. It is really fascinating once you start reading about it. :D

I've had a lot of flying dreams recently.. one which I remember most intently, involved me just starting to move above the treeline and as I started to pick up speed I kind of got anxious a bit and I recall saying aloud, "hey, slow down, I'm just learning how to do this" makes me wonder who I was speaking to.

Yeah - used to have flying dreams as a kid. Really stuck in my memory though. Flying was amazing, but it was always only a few feet off the ground. Bizarre, eh?

Generally, flying dreams are associated with growing in height--that is supposedly the reason most people get them while they are children/teenagers.

I really like the flying dreams, where I can feel I can levitate in air--it is a really weird feeling, like I have to move a certain muscle, somewhere near my neck, and I can levitate. They feel really real however, as if I can also do it in real life.

The human brain is quite interesting... I find it more interesting than computers, lately :)

Ok well, I had this dream 5 months ago where I was flying in a mini silver airplane, just fooling around. Then I drop down, and it feels like a slightly get the wind knocked out of me, then i fly down again, like a roller coasts going down the first hill, it happened two more times untill I dropped down right to the bottom and my lungs were totally gasping for breath, I wake up and I'm still gasping for air, like I held my breath for like 1 minute or so.

That was kinda scary, cause I dunno what would of happend if I stayed in the dream.

Hey maybe you all can help me interpret a recurring dream I have where me and this other guy climb to the top of the washington monument and then we jump out into the reflecting pool below and swim around like dolphins...

:D just kidding

novon, actually I have a similar dream occasionally, where I am sick or something and I keep trying to get help but keep falling/passing out... usually they're nightmares though. I haven't had one in a year or so. I've only had a few dreams about Lucent (aka dreamed lucidly... LOL)... it's cool when it does happen.

As a child I used to dream about being able to fly like a bird. Pretty interesting.

This is not an out of body experience. Just a very, very unimaginative and boring dream. Nobody dies, there are no monsters, no explosions, you don't get to have sex with any supermodels, and there are no cool cars.

My dreams are more exciting than yours.

This is no joke... I had 2 beers last night on an empty stomach.
I fell asleep and left the lights on outside... last thing I remembered was to brush my teeth but I forgot... So 4 am comes along, I thought I was awake and conscious so I wanted to brush my teeth. I woke up at 6am thinking I had brushed my teeth, but I had seriously doubted it.... It felt like I left my body and went to brush my teeth.... because I remember getting the toothpaste. Weird...

i just daydreamed that somebody sawed you in half, man that was exciting...

do you really think that novon can't tell the difference between a dream and an out of body experience? do you really think that you know better than he does about what he was experiencing?
