Thanks for your support Mosslack. Moral support from this forum helped me a lot during the whole proces of installing the hackintosh!!!
Fixed the problem with the 2nd HD. I took my 1st HD out and booted from the boot cd and continued with the install cd from OSX. Before installing OSX i turned to the Disk Utilities which recognized the HD!! Formated it and put everything back in (HD1 in port 0 DVD in port 1 and HD2 in port 2) and restarted. While trying to boot from HD 1 the computer hangs. Changed the DVD and HD 2 (meaning DVD in SATA port 2 and HD2 in SATA port 1) and now everything works fine. After startup OSX recognises the 2nd HD and asks if it can use it for time machine!!
Haven't changed to your HD boot so far. Loaded the zip document from this site, but couldnt find a clear description of the proces. Or did I just overlook this?

I am recommending 10.5.6 now. The latest Quicktime update seems to have completely eliminated the mouse jitter issue for me (not the iTunes one, for you 8x00 users).

Works fine for me on my P35 Hack running 10.5.6, opened each app and created a small test doc, saved to desktop and then closed out. Double clicked on each test doc and it opened the app up as it should. Looks pretty nice, may go ahead and buy it. HTH

Yeah. The mouse thing seemed to have came back, so I upgraded to the new Quicktime, and I'm not sure it's fixed. Lovely 8600 user here.
Blah.

Ok i just installed with my 1900gt insalled and it has full dual screen, CI/QE/GL on 10.5.5 using this fix (http://forum.insanelymac.com/i....php?showtopic=127629) but i can not get the video QE in 10.5.6.
Partitioned HD 2 have 2 installs going. One with 10.5.6 missing QE (Test system) and 10.5.5 (using)
Would love to get the 1900gt in 10.5.6 and ATYinject only gives resolution and CI

yep kinda sucks... still really waiting for 48xx support. Im real excited about snow though.
I think its causing sleep to not work too. You think i should try a sleep kernel? I really need sleep...
Guide was great btw. Super easy and fast. One question i have though is how do i do some sort of backup so i can try different kexts and stuff and if it breaks.
I tried backing up extensions and restoring but that did not work.

Easiest way is to split your boot drive into 2 partitions (you can resize anytime with GUID) and clone your existing install to the second partition. Tweak the drivers on the second partition and then reboot, selecting the second partition at the Darwin prompt. Then you can see if stuff works or not, and you can always go back to your main partition if needed. For an even safer method, do it on a secondary hard drive, just in case.

So what would be the ideal way to swap video cards? I know, ideally I would start from scratch to diagnose, but I'll reserve that for later. I want to drop my EVGA 8800GT 512 card for a Zotac 7300GT 256MB. I do like that it's fanless, heh.
swap cards, boot, reapply kexts, reboot?

swap cards, boot, reapply kexts, reboot?
1. Uninstall old driver (if EFI String, delete from the boot plist)
2. Install new driver (Uinstaller)
3. Shutdown
4. Swap cards
5. Boot up and verify QE/CI
The Zotac 256mb 7300GT is a beast. Avoid the 512mb, it doesn't work.
