Hacking together a Dreamcast Keyboard?

Has anybody taken a PC keyboard and adapted it to use in the Dreamcast? So far, my search has been fruitless, and I am too cheap to shell out money for the keyboard. Although, I expect the connector Sega uses is proprietary, making it nearly impossible to hack.

Here, I doubt this is what you wanted.. but it WILL allow you to use a PC keyboard.

Yeah, that kinda defeats the purpose for $20. But it is a thought.

$50 for a webtv keyboard that is a POS, or $20 for a Sega Keyboard... I guess Sega isn't too bad.

good find...but not as fun as hacking all those wires into one large mess.
