Hacking an Abit BE6-II to get RAID?

I have an Abit BE6-II mainboard and I was told that I could hack the board for RAID by soldering on a resistor. Someone please point me in the right direction and send me a link or something to the instructions. If I could do the same for ATA 100, that would be cool too. Thanks.

If you have the be6-ii rev 1.2 you should have a HPT370 controller chip instead of the HPT366 chip that comes with the older revisions, but if you do have the HPT370 controller, you find out by just looking at the high point controller chip on your be6-ii itself, if it says "HPT370" you can just goto the abit website and d/l the new drivers for the high point 370 controller and voila, you've got yourself ata/100.. now raid?.. i don't know... my be6-ii has the hpt370 and i got new drivers, but i don't have an ata/100 HD, nor do i have any need for raid...

My mobo has highpoint 366 not 370. I know that you can hack an ata100 card for raid, and I heard you could hack my mobo for it too. I don't really have a need for ata100, but the raid is a definite necessity. My hdd are so slow.
