HI yall I got a DSL connection ( dynamic Ip address ) any way I run WIn2k so my internal pci DSL modem ( intel pro/dsl 2100 modem) can take in the DSL go thew Zone Alarm ( fire wall ) and pitch it out to my computer and my bros. Any way there are some drawy backs to useing Win2k's ICS ( internet connection sharing) and a buddy of mine recoememnded that I get a basic router and take off the firewall from the Win2k box ( nothing important on it) my question is if the WIn2k DSL box is giveing the router the internet access and there is where the firewall is how hack able will my Win2k box with out zone alarm be?

A router real firewall should be alot safer than a virtual firewall like zone alarm I believe. Does it means its not hackable, no, but will it be worthwhile to do so, probably no.
