Hack a coke machine

Not really any usefulness in doing this other than to impress your friends. Cant get free soda or anything. Still pretty cool though.

Well I know what I'm doing this afternoon.

Oh that reminds me, back in the day when I lived in the dorms a buddy of mine showed me how to "hack" the washers and dryers so I got to do my laundry for free.

Tried it on our machine it work when I read about it. Doesn't show much. Just number sold, etc.

that explains how the machine at work has 2 for 1 on Mountain Dew periodically.

If I'm not mistaken all the machines at Chelsea Piers are this type as well...

There's also an inversely proportional relationship between how far someone has to reach to press a button and how many of that particular drink were sold... the bottom row sodas were always a few hundred sales below the rest.

Mmm...so to get a free drink, I set the price to zero and just choose whatever drinks I want? The article doesn't really tells u the step-by-step instruction.
