H100 Basic QA I hope

Corsair H100

The tubing connecting the CPU block and radiator. (hope my terminology is okay) please correct me to make me better aware for future posts.

Note: It appears to be designed as a top mount. The fluid tubes coming off the CPU block are almost crossed over each other. (the one I have). As if looking down at one of your hands and crossing your fingers.

Can I rotate the tubing (adjust it) on the CPU block and or radiator to my preference? Meaning just grab it and twist (gently)?

And or do I need to loosen some screws; adjust, then tighten screws accordingly? or will this create leaks?

I would post this elsewhere; however I believe Anandtech forums will lead to a more fruitful resolve.

The can pivot (on the fitting between the block and the tubing), but you can't really twist the tubing. Don't loosen any screws. It's a closed loop cooler that is not meant to be tampered with.

It should be fine in whatever position you put it in, even if the tubes look a little twisted. Just look at pictures of it installed (http://images.google.com and search for Corsair H100).

Thank You. I just did not want to twist on the fittings/tubing connection so I decided to leave it alone (liver alone).

I will just gently twist at the connection (NOT THE tubing to the CPU block) to get what I am in need of.
