I was just using this proggie to print a label and noticed that they have "Signature Confirmation". I believe this service is free too unlike USPS website which doesn't even offer to print Signature Confirmation. Which is better? Signature Confirmation or Delivery Confirmation. I think sig. conf. is better because we get signature from our recipient so that means USPS driver actually has to hand over the package to its real owner... Any thoughts on how this works?

The bad thing about signature conformation is it may cause delays because the receipent has to be home to sign and after too many unsuccessful attempts the person may have to go pick it up at the post office.

Just wanted to Chime in. Have been using it for a week and have printed 5 labels. I also have been using media RATE for my software -- dirt cheap @ 1.33 for a pound!

It's not free, it's $1.25, you'll see this fee statement if you view the printed output label. It is cheaper than the retail form though, which would be $1.75

If your item is that much worth needing a signature, you may want to consider insuring it. A blue tag insurance form ($2 and up) will get you a signature.

I dunno if its the same thing, but you can get "postal explorer" free on CD Rom at the post office, if you charge over $25 on a credit card - which I do every day.
Has everything you need.
